The incomparable Ms. Waller is a singer of Gospel music, R & B, jazz and blues. Nicknamed “Song Bird”, her lineage goes back to the late Jazz Legend Thomas “Fats” Waller as well as to the actress and singer Dorothy Dandridge. Her accomplishments in Gospel music are stellar having performed widely with some of the giants in today’s Gospel music scene, including Donnie McClurkin, Tramaine Hawkins, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong. She has performed with Helen Baylor at Carnegie hall, she opened for Kirk Franklin with her own group, and she has performed as a backup singer with Natalie Cole. Ms. Waller is blessed with a deep, rich, soulful, sultry voice and she brings her diverse musical influences into her interpretations of jazz standards. You don’t want to miss her performance!
Mr. Lepley has performed with some of the legendary big bands such as the Glen Miller and Bob Crosby Orchestras, and with well-known contemporary jazz musicians such as Sonny Fortune, Eddie Daniels, and Joe Lovano. He has also had a long and successful career as a composer, arranger, and recording artist. He composed music for the theatre while living in Greenwich Village, and has recorded with jazz singers and instrumentalists over the years. Recently featured in Newsday, Mr. Lepley announced the release of his new CD, "MacDougal St., NYC"
