Barbara Ann Branca is a singer/ songwriter, performance poet and published author from Long Island. Starting with musical theater and a USO Troupe at a tender age, she was the featured jazz vocalist with the American Community Orchestra touring Greece and Belgium. At Stony Brook University, she fronted the big jazz band led by the legendary jazz trombonist Ray Anderson. In New York City, she created a solo show at Palsson’s Supper Club and often performs her beat poetry accompanied by jazz musicians. She currently jams at The Jazz Loft in Stony Brook.
Mr. Lepley has performed with some of the legendary big bands such as the Glen Miller and Bob Crosby Orchestras, and with well-known contemporary jazz musicians such as Sonny Fortune, Eddie Daniels, and Joe Lovano. He has also had a long and successful career as a composer, arranger, and recording artist. He composed music for the theatre while living in Greenwich Village, and has recorded with jazz singers and instrumentalists over the years. Recently featured in Newsday, Mr. Lepley announced the release of his new CD, "MacDougal St., NYC"
