Robert Lepley featuring Kristen Lee Sergeant

Kristen Lee Sergeant, jazz singer, arranger, and songwriter has a fearlessly innovative perspective, and a performance style that marries her theatricality to an intimacy that’s unique in the jazz sphere. Jay Edwards, WCLK-FM Atlanta’s On-Air Jazz Tones host says “Sergeant takes your breath away as an effervescent spirit whose superb vocals and phrasing inject the lyrics with new life.”

Mr. Lepley has performed with some of the legendary big bands such as the Glen Miller and Bob Crosby Orchestras, and with well-known contemporary jazz musicians such as Sonny Fortune, Eddie Daniels, and Joe Lovano. He has also had a long and successful career as a composer, arranger, and recording artist. He composed music for the theatre while living in Greenwich Village, and has recorded with jazz singers and instrumentalists over the years. Recently featured in Newsday, Mr. Lepley announced the release of his new CD, "MacDougal St., NYC" Jim Commack on Bass
